Frequently Asked Questions

A few common questions about how Team Score works.

How are players scored?

Each player's score is entered hole by hole and can be tagged as Net, Gross, or Junk right from the score entry screen. Team Score uses each player's handicap to calculate net scores automatically, and rolls individual results up into team totals for whichever format your group picked before teeing off.

How do you set up a golf course?

From the course list, add a new course or select an existing one to edit. For each hole, set the par and handicap index. Once a course is configured, it's saved and ready to reuse for future rounds.

How do you set up a player?

On the player setup screen, enter each player's name and handicap. Add as many players as your foursome needs before starting a new game.

How do you switch screens?

While a round is in progress, Team Score gives you quick navigation buttons for moving between holes (Prev / Next), jumping to the front or back nine, entering scores, and viewing the team summary — so you're never more than a tap away from the view you need.

What do the score outputs look like?

The live scorecard shows par, hole, handicap, and running team totals as you play, with a toggle between Gross and Net display. At the end of the round, the team summary shows results across every format your group is tracking — Points Quota, Stableford, Score, Six Six Six, and ABCD Game — plus a per-player breakdown of eagles, birdies, bogeys, and any payouts owed.
